Diane von Furstenberg Dress

Here it is, probably my favorite dress of my wardrobe and surely one of the prettiest clothes I've ever bought! :) It was definitely a love with the first sight - its vivid yellow-golden color, the unusual material and the ancient greek cut make this dress by Diane von Furstenberg irresistable. Matched with brown Burberry wedges and this lovely Zara basket bag. Oh and really light make-up - only a line of green eyepencil, mascara of course and coral lipbalm (I think it's the first time after months that I don't wear eyeliner).
Dimitis and me are back to Volos since yesterday, after almost two months of holidays and family days I got to admit that it's nice to be at my appartment again. So I hope from now on I'll be able to post much more often, just as soon as it ends this bad bad thing called exams :S

Week Diary

Just some photos of my week that I hadn't shared with you yet. Since I created this blog I'm becoming more and more addicted in taking photos of everything that captures my eye (sometimes it's kind of annoying for the others, for example when I want to take photos of our food before we eat it :P) - I think it's a great way to improve yourself in taking good photos. Do you use to do this too?

Μερικές φωτογραφίες από την εβδομάδα μου που δεν έχω μοιραστεί ακόμη μαζί σας. Από τότε που ξεκίνησα αυτό το blog βγάζω όλο και περισσότερες φωτογραφίες από οτιδήποτε μου τραβάει την προσοχή (μερικές φορές γίνεται λίγο ενοχλητικό για τους άλλους, για παράδειγμα όταν θέλω να βγάλω φωτογραφίες το φαγητό πριν το φάμε :Ρ) - αλλά νομίζω ότι είναι ένας πολύ καλός τρόπος να βελτιωθείς στο να βγάζεις καλές φωτογραφίες. Εσείς το κάνετε αυτό;

I'm dying for bruschettas - these with mushrooms and melted cheese are one of my favorites.

And finally some vintage knits that I found at my grandma's house. These belonged to my mum when she was about 15 and the best part is that my grandma had knitted them for her. Isn't this wonderful?

Και τέλος μερικά vintage πουλόβερ που βρήκα στο σπίτι της γιαγιάς μου. Ήταν της μαμάς μου όταν ήταν περίπου 15 χρονών και το καλύτερο είναι ότι η γιαγιά μου της τα είχε πλέξει. Δεν είναι υπέροχο;

Over - Striped

I had already warned you that this was going to be my stripy summer, hadn't I? So here it is another striped outfit, an over-striped one actually since every piece of it has stripes on it. Even my flatforms are somewhat striped if you think about it. Anyway, enough with my stripe-mania. We took these photos some days ago at Thessaloniki as we had a walk at the port before we head for a morning coffee. Probably one of the last relaxing times of these days because now I have to start studying – the September exams of the university start in about 10 days and although I was looking forward to return to Volos, wild landing in fact with exams is NOT GOOD.

I also had some shopping that day, I'm going to show you my purchases as long as some more photos of my week at the next post. Until then I hope you all have fun and enjoy the last days of your summer!

Σας είχα προειδοποιήσει ότι αυτό θα ήταν το ριγωτό καλοκαίρι μου, έτσι δεν είναι; Ορίστε λοιπόν ένα ακόμα ριγωτό outfit, υπερ-ριγωτό για την ακρίβεια αφού όλα τα κομμάτια που το αποτελούν έχουν ρίγες. Ακόμα και οι φλατφόρμες μου έχουν ρίγες αν το σκεφτείτε. Τέλος πάντων, φτάνει τόσο με τη μανία μου με τις ρίγες. Βγάλαμε αυτές τις φωτογραφίες πριν μερικές μέρες στην Θεσσαλονίκη καθώς κάναμε έναν περίπατο στο λιμάνι πριν πάμε για έναν πρωινό καφέ. Πιθανότατα μία από τις τελευταίες χαλαρές στιγμές αυτών των ημερών αφού τώρα πρέπει να ξεκινήσω διάβασμα – η εξεταστική του Σεπτεμβρίου ξεκινάει σε περίπου 10 ημέρες και αν και ανυπομονούσα να επιστρέψω στον Βόλο, η άγρια προσγείωση στην πραγματικότητα με την εξεταστική ΔΕΝ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΚΑΛΗ.

Πήγα και λίγο στην αγορά εκείνη τη μέρα, θα σας δείξω αυτά που πήρα καθώς και μερικές ακόμα φωτογραφίες από την εβδομάδα μου στο επόμενο post. Μέχρι τότε ελπίζω να περνάτε καλά και να απολαμβάνετε τις τελευταίες μέρες των διακοπών σας!

Never say no to good food!

Hello lovelies! I know it's been a long time since my last post, almost a week actually, and to be honest I'm not really sure if I even have a good excuse for that :P Let me make a try by saying that I'm working on some changes here on my blog, not very big changes, just some things to make it better organized so it'll be easier for you to navigate in it. I hope I'll finish with these soon so you'll tell me your opinions.
We took these photos yesterday with Dimitris when we went out for lunch at one of our favorite places in Thessaloniki. I can't easily say no to good food, I'm Greek what else to say? :D I just dream the day that I can eat all the things I want and not get on weight. Anyway, my outfit has a bit of color blocking and a kind of 'happy-chic' thing, hasn't it? I love how every time I wear these shoes it looks like I'm wearing no shoes at all and I just have two blue balls on my feet!

Ξέρω έχουν περάσει πολλές μέρες από το τελευταίο μου post, σχεδόν μια εβδομάδα για την ακρίβεια, και για να είμαι ειλικρινής δεν ξέρω αν έχω καν μια καλή δικαιολογία γι'αυτό :Ρ Ας κάνω μια προσπάθεια λέγοντας ότι κάνω κάποιες αλλαγές εδώ στο blog μου, όχι πολύ μεγάλες αλλαγές, απλά μερικά πράγματα για να είναι πιο καλά οργανωμένο και να είναι πιο εύκολο και για εσάς να περιηγηθείτε σ'αυτό. Ελπίζω να τις τελειώσω σύντομα για να μου πείτε τη γνώμη σας.
Βγάλαμε αυτές τις φωτογραφίες χθες με τον Δημήτρη όταν βγήκαμε για φαγητό σε ένα από τα αγαπημένα μας μέρη στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Δεν μπορώ να πω εύκολα όχι στο καλό φαγητό, Ελληνίδα δεν είμαι; :D Ονειρεύομαι τη μέρα που θα μπορώ να τρώω ό,τι θέλω και να μην παχαίνω. Τέλος πάντων, το outfit μου έχει κάτι από color blocking και ένα 'χαρούμενο-σικ' πράγμα, δεν συμφωνείτε; Μ'αρέσει τόσο πολύ που κάθε φορά που φοράω αυτά τα παπούτσια φαίνεται σαν να μην φοράω καθόλου παπούτσια και απλά έχω δύο μπλε μπάλες στα πόδια μου!

New in : Celine Jacket

As I was looking around my closet yesterday I found this amazing Celine jacket that I had bought about a month ago and hadn't shown it to you yet. Its shape and material are incredible but what I'm dying for is its stunning color. It's not red, it's not fuchsia, it's not even coral - so unique! I can't wait for the weather to be a little less hot so I can finally wear it!

Καθώς τριγύριζα στην ντουλάπα μου χθες βρήκα αυτό το υπέροχο Celine σακάκι που είχα πάρει πριν κανένα μήνα και δεν σας το είχα δείξει ακόμα. Η γραμμή και το υλικό του είναι απίστευτα αλλά αυτό που λατρεύω είναι το καταπληκτικό χρώμα του. Δεν είναι κόκκινο ούτε φούξια, δεν είναι ούτε καν κοραλί - τόσο μοναδικό! Ανυπομονώ να σταματήσει να έχει τόση ζέστη για να το φορέσω επιτέλους!

Jump!

I always enjoy these photos from editorials at which models make poses a little different and not so usual – it adds something really lovely and special to a photo. I wish I could pose like this all the time but I surely don't have the experience and of course I'm not a model. Once in a while is ok for me I guess. So here it is my 'Jump!' pose with photos taken by my cousin Athena.

This bag is actually a gift I made to my mom some weeks ago but since I loved it so much I could not avoid borrowing it :P My outfit is really summery and probably a 'morning' outfit. What do you think about it?

P.S. I received a couple of e-mails asking me if the first photo of the previous post 'Holiday's Diary' is real or I have found it on the internet. Yes it's real and moreover it's taken by me (woohooo :D), I'm so glad you liked it!

Πάντα λατρεύω αυτές τις φωτογραφίες από τα editorials στις οποίες τα μοντέλα κάνουν κάπως διαφορετικές πόζες και όχι τόσο συνηθισμένες – προσθέτει κάτι πολύ ωραίο και ιδιαίτερο σε μια φωτογραφία. Μακάρι να μπορούσα να ποζάρω έτσι συνέχεια αλλά σίγουρα δεν έχω την εμπειρία και φυσικά δεν είμαι μοντέλο. Που και που είναι καλά για μένα φαντάζομαι. Οπότε αυτή είναι η 'Jump!' πόζα μου με φωτογραφίες από την ξαδέρφη μου Αθηνά.

Αυτή την τσάντα την είχα πάρει δώρο στην μαμά μου πριν μερικές εβδομάδες αλλά μου άρεσε πάρα πάρα πολύ και δεν μπορούσα να μην τη δανειστώ :Ρ Το outfit μου είναι πολύ καλοκαιρινό και μάλλον 'πρωινό'. Πώς σας φαίνεται;

Υ.Γ. Πήρα κάποια e-mails που με ρωτούσαν αν η πρώτη φωτογραφία του προηγούμενου post 'Holiday's Diary' είναι αληθινή ή την βρήκα στο ίντερνετ. Ναι είναι αληθινή και για την ακρίβεια είναι τραβηγμένη από εμένα (woohooo :D), χαίρομαι τόσο που σας άρεσε!
